Yes, camel riding with us is completely safe. Our camels are calm, well-trained animals who are used to carrying guests. A professional guide walks beside you or leads your camel at all times. The pace is slow and gentle — there is no galloping or sudden movement. Our tours are fully insured and suitable for all ages including children and elderly guests.
Absolutely yes! Camel rides are one of the most family-friendly activities in Marrakech. Children from age 4+ can ride solo with adult supervision. Very young children can sit in front of a parent on the same camel. Our guides are experienced with families and will set a pace that every child feels comfortable with.
We provide traditional Moroccan cheich and djellaba to wear during your experience. Underneath, dress in comfortable, light clothing — long trousers are recommended as they prevent friction against the saddle. Closed-toe shoes are ideal. Apply sunscreen and bring sunglasses. Wearing your traditional outfit is optional but highly recommended for an authentic feel and beautiful photographs.
We offer different durations to suit your schedule. The Palmeraie ride lasts approximately 1 to 2 hours. The Agafay sunset experience runs for about 1.5 hours of riding plus the tea ceremony. The full desert evening package is approximately 3 to 4 hours including dinner. All tours include travel time from your hotel if pickup is booked.
Camel welfare is something we take very seriously. Our camels receive daily feeding, fresh water, regular veterinary care, and adequate rest between tours. They are never overworked or mistreated.
